  • New lighting: a bolder key light over the ground.
  • Plug in a game controller or arcade-cabinet controls and play from the title screen.
  • A Resolution setting on computers, and the picture adjusts itself to keep the game smooth on every device.

Swipe to swing

  • Swing with a swipe: its direction picks the shot, its speed decides how much air it gets.
  • Good contact freezes the frame, punches the camera in and flashes the sweet spot.
  • A read-the-ball assist quietly saves a near-miss swing (for you, never the computer).
  • Shuffle in the crease and pick front or back foot between balls.
  • Fixed swipes on phones being read as taps.

  • The guided first balls come back with the freeze fixed; for a few hours that day the game went back to the previous build.
  • Returning players are not sent through the tutorial again.
