What's in it

Eight fighters, each a different art medium. Kiln, a claymation grappler, throws clay lumps that stick you to the floor and grows bigger and stronger as he gathers clay. Sakuga, an anime fighter, is fast, and his Power Level climbs as he lands hits until he breaks his limit.

Both have painted stages, painted supers and portraits, and the deciding round of a match falls at night. Four buttons: Light, Heavy, Special (with a direction, and held for a stronger version) and ★, the super, once the Style meter is full. Arcade (with a continue countdown), Versus with stage select, and Training, with a move list in the pause menu. Phones play in portrait or landscape with touch controls; keyboard and gamepad work too. Early build: Baren, Dither, Benday, Hatch, Sfumato and Vellum (with his puppet hound Nib) are painted standing and walking, and their attacks hold that pose until their move paintings land; sound is menu clicks only while the sound pack is being reviewed.
